The information on this website is for general information only and is not medical advice. It does not create a doctor–patient relationship. In an emergency, call 911.
SMS Terms
- Program: Urgent Care of Kansas sends text messages to patients who opt in, about referral coordination, appointment and follow-up reminders, notices that results or documents are ready in the patient portal, and replies to patient questions. We do not send marketing messages.
- How you opt in: You opt in by checking the text-message consent box on our patient registration form, signed at check-in.
- Consent is optional: Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of receiving care or any service.
- Message frequency: Message frequency varies based on your care.
- Costs: Message and data rates may apply. Check with your wireless carrier for details.
- Opt out: Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You will receive one confirmation message and then no further messages. You can also call your clinic to opt out.
- Help: Reply HELP for help, or call (913) 938-4726 or email staff@urgentcareofkansas.com.
- Carriers: Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Privacy: See our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data with third parties for marketing purposes.
